The carob honey resembles something of chocolate, something of mocha brown, and has a dark amber color, while crystallizing it acquires a pleasantly thick texture. It is an alternative to chocolate with strong antioxidant properties. It is rich in calcium, magnesium, vitamins and iron. Collected just before Christmas. So, we challenge you to try it on your melomakarona as well. It is collected from the carob flowers in our two estates in Kranidi, Argolida.

It should not be given to children under 12 months

* Crystallization is a natural phenomenon of pure and unprocessed honey. If you want to restore it to its original state, make a bain-marie and wait for it to return to its original form.


First we place a pot with a little water on the stove, wait until water vapor starts to come out of the water, then lower the heat enough and fasten a second metal or glass utensil on the pot, where it is good not to come in direct contact with the first utensil and in it place the jar with your honey and wait until it liquefies.
