ELATO PERLA MAINALO unique in the world and with a protected designation of origin PDO. It is collected in the initial honey secretion of the fir tree during the months of May and June. It belongs to the rarest category of honey, produced from the resin of the black fir, in the high peaks of Mainalos. Its honey looks like a solid white vanilla mass. Its special pearly color reminds us of a jewel, where it makes it unique and competitive with other Greek types of honey. They are rich in trace elements, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, enzymes, proteins and vitamins that contribute to the assimilation of sugars in the body. Even vanilla, due to its high PH, never crystallizes.
It is thick and particularly special honey because it stands out for the pearl highlights that are created. It is rich in phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium. It is of high nutritional value and low in sugar. It is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial. It has a mildly sweet taste with notes of caramel and does not crystallize.
