Sousoura is a toasted shrub with rich flowering and is an excellent beekeeping plant. The vintage in this area gives us a reddish or reddish-copper honey, with a characteristic, delicate aroma and special taste. Sousoura honey is characterized as honey of exceptional nutritional value due to its high content of pollen grains, it is rich in silicon, boron and barium. Particularly tonic for the human body as it has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. A 2012 study found that sousoura honey had the highest phenol content.
