History: In Plomari, Dimitrios Giannatsis with the recipes of the East in his luggage, finds here the best ingredients to make his spirits. Grapes of exceptional quality, which were then cultivated in Lesvos, anise from Lisvori, fennel and aromatic plants from the surrounding mountains, and soft, soft water from the Sedounta river that splits Plomari in two. Plomari had many distilleries then. Today there are only four left in Plomari. One of them is the distillery of Dimitriou D. Giannatsi, which was officially founded in 1932.
Features: Light and pleasant to the taste with subtle anise aromas, mastic touches and floral notes. Appetizing ouzo, drunk by adding water or ice at will, which adds a rich emulsion.
