Abelon Organic Grape Spirit, as the full name is, is a certified organic spirit of Sultanina grapes that come from a specific vineyard (single vineyard). The vinification and subsequent double distillation in copper still took place in small-scale installations for optimal monitoring of the process.
The first barrel was opened, the spirit “went down” to 48% and after a 6-month maturation, it was bottled unfiltered in 191 bottles.
One of those absolutely elegant, limited edition, and therefore numbered bottles which brilliantly highlight the age profile of the contents, I received. And it is with great pleasure and honor that I describe to you the features of Abelon 2016 No. 176/191.
